Smoke Ventilation…
A smoke system consists of a combination of roof vents, automatic opening vent windows, vertical glazed or metal louvres, which are installed in certain corridor areas and internal smoke shaft damper ventilators.
All smoke control products supplied by us meet the requirements of the following EN Standards:
- EN12101-2 Natural Smoke and Heat Exhaust Ventilators
- EN12101-8 Smoke Control Dampers
- EN12101-10 Smoke and Heat Control systems – Power supplies
With this type of ventilation, smoke is exhausted either via vents in the external façade, a large vertical smoke shaft that expels the products of combustion at roof level, or a combination of both.
For smoke vented systems, all products must meet the requirements of the Construction Products Regulation (CPR) and Declaration of Performance (DoP) documentation must be made available upon completion of each project.
